International Sales Manager – Components/Consumables

We’re working with one of East Anglia’s success stories on a new role heading up a team, and taking the leading role in global sales of their niche technical range. It’s a fantastic role for somebody that enjoys international travel as you will get the opportunity to travel the globe regularly. But also a rewarding and varied position for a technical salesperson, who enjoys building relationships with OEM’s and  distributors alike.

Candidates will be of particular interest if you’re bringing global technical sales experience either selling components/consumables into OEMs/Distribution, or finished products that are of a highly technical nature. As the customers will likely be specialists in their field, you will need the ability to really understand the range and target market so that you cans sell against competitors in the field.

Whilst experience from a global sales role is preferred, candidates that are coming from international distributor management roles, or UK focused sales roles with distribution experience will also be considered. This is very much a hunter role though, so any applicants must be willing to lead from the front on winning business from new clients/partners.

Overview of key duties:

• Develop annual sales strategy
• Strategise quarterly sales & travel plans.
• Identify growth opportunities through new distributors and OEM customers.
• Review individual customers to establish opportunities for added growth/revenue
• Manage performance of an internal/external sales team of 5
• Reporting on success/plans to senior management
