National Account Manager – FMCG – Essex – £50 – 60,000 + Bonus

We’re delighted to be working with a market leading FMCG company in need of an enthusiastic and self-motivated National Account Manager to join their fast growing team!

You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and also supervise and support regional accounts to increase sales and profitability. Ultimately, you will facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to deliver business strategies with the chosen FMCG marketplace.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you will work to review existing products, services, and markets, representing the company externally e.g., at networking events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimise all business development opportunities.

You will also maintain an awareness of external factors (including competitors, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business. Communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Senior Management Team.

To be successful in this role, it will be essential you possess an interest and enthusiasm for the retail (FMCG) marketplace and have had commercial experience in a role at National Account / Account Manager level.

Based in Essex, this position is commutable from Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Cambridge, St. Albans, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Hertford, Enfield, London, Brentwood, Basildon, Colchester, Braintree and Welwyn Garden City Norwich, and Cambridge.
