We are currently working for a market leader in the Software sector who are searching for technically minded graduates to join their software sales team. Whilst it would be beneficial if candidates were coming with some sales exposure it is not essential, as initially the role will be focused on inbound leads and enquiries. It is however essential candidates are strong academically and have an aptitude for technical products and a general interest in software and technology.
This role will be focused on qualifying inbound leads, communicating with potential customer and helping move them through the sales funnel with the ideal endpoint being them purchasing a subscription to the software. You must have strong communications skills, an ability to think on your feet and respond and manage customers in a professional capacity although full training will be given.
The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday but not set hours, due to a lot of their client base being abroad some flexibility in hours will be required to start early or finish later on some shifts when dealing with different time zones. The company does offer a flexible working policy though so once bedded in there will be opportunities and allowances for home working. Due to the location of the role, candidates will preferably be located in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Bedford, Royston, Huntingdon, Newmarket or Peterborough.
