An exciting opportunity has become available for a Regional Sales Manager, based in the South-East to take a role with a market leading homewares manufacturer. The company is very successful, with a strong and growing customer base in the UK and overseas, well positioned for further growth this year and next.
Key focus for the role is to ensure that all targets are hit within the sales territory. This will be achieved by deep understanding of the Company’s product range, markets, trends, opportunities and activity, and by developing close, positive relationships with major accounts in order to grow the business, as well as identifying new business. To achieve this you must be happy out on the road 4/5 days per week, comfortable using a CRM system, and happy working with sales data/figures.
You must be familiar with calling in on suppliers and distributors. As well as managing existing accounts you will be responsible for developing new B2B relationships whilst guiding sales performance by understanding market trends, and competitor analysis and delivering sales presentations.
Candidates must be happy advising and trying to grow exposure on digital platforms, ins store merchandising/POS, and product range inclusion. You will also attend national meetings and conferences, and working out in the field across your territory as well as having responsibility yourself for the locations.
