We’re seeking candidates with proven experience pitching and closing sales on a B2B basis by phone, who would be happy working in an outbound sales role at a leading insurance broker. This is not an account management position, the onus is on new clients initially with retention managed by other team members, and if you would not be happy working in a vibrant sales office then this really isn’t going to be the role for you.
The organisation we’re working with is a specialist broker, and are rarely beaten on policy price. What they need is talented, motivated, professional salespeople to generate opportunities within new businesses. The great thing about this product is you are trying to save people money, and Insurance is something all businesses legally have to have, it’s not a new or strange concept, and it’s not something adversely affected by market conditions. To the contrary, when the market is bad people look to save money, and reduced insurance rates are a way to achieve that.
Yes this is financial services but this is not a super corporate environment, yes they dress smart, yes they work hard. But they also have a great staff benefit ethos, and cool offices kitted out with top of the range screens, chairs, equipment and large TV screens for sports events.
The General duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Working on warm sales leads generated by a closely linked telemarketing team
- Broking insurance products for prospective clients
- Retaining repeat business through excellent service standards
A strong salesperson will absolutely thrive within the business. Given the ambitious yet realistic expansion plans, longer-term progression opportunities may also be available to the right candidate. Commission within this role is uncapped and is aimed at rewarding the hard work and dedication of every employee.
Our client will also pay for your education to become Cert CII qualified and bonuses are paid on completion of this.
