How would you like to sell cutting-edge technology in a market with no competitors? If this sounds interesting and you’re keen to take a role with no commission thresholds, then this role could be for you. We’re excited to be working with a unique PAAS (Product-as-a-Service) provider as they seek a business development manager to join their team, selling their unique product into the hospitality (specifically hotels) sector. This is a complex selling process that can take time, and as such an intelligent and motivated salesperson who is happy selling by video, phone and F2F is essential. As you will be required to travel and meet with clients regularly, the role is UK-centric but could require overseas travel from time to time. Applicants must have experience selling an ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) product into the hotel sector, and ideally PAAS or SAAS. Additionally you must also have experience of selling into multiple contact points such as GM, Operations and Procurement as the decisions makers, and decision making process can vary greatly. Candidates who do not have this experience will not be considered for the position. For 3 days in each of the first 2 weeks you will be office-based on a training course, following that, you would be based from home and travelling to their office in the south on average twice a month (occasionally 3 times when there is a quarterly review). You’ll likely have extensive experience already in a home-based position and be happy and motivated working in an autonomous role. Ideally, you will be located within 2.5 hours of London as this would often be an area you would attend on client visits. A little further could be considered but not remote areas such as the North East, Scotland, and the deep South West. The role will be fully supported with tech (laptop/phone), HubSpot, and sales LI navigator if wanted and used. For an initial period, you will get qualified leads from their SDR team, though I would add this is not a purely inbound position, and you will also be expected to self-generate leads. After some time, it’s expected that you will be so busy managing your pipeline that you will no longer need leads, as has been evident with other salespeople within the business. Either you have experience selling B2B products/services face to face and are seeking a challenge at an organisation where it’s not a ‘sell sell sell’ set up and consultive approach is key. Or you have some sales experience and experience of the property sector and are keen to try something new. We’re working with a leading not for profit organisation that provides a legally required service for the property sector as they seek to grow and enhance their position within the industry. This is a new role servicing the East of England, and a patch covering Essex, Cambs, Herts, Beds, Norfolk & Suffolk. Based from home after an initial 3 week training course, you will be provided with a car and all the tools to build and grow your customer base. Expectation would be an average of 3 customer visits a day across the week, though it’s likely you would be at home a couple of days and doing 5 per day across 3. This is not a hard sales role, and it’s a product/service that property business must provide by law, your job is to educate the businesses on the product and advise why it’s better and different to the other market products, with the hope of them joining. As it’s not a hard sales role and you are working for a not for profit organisation there is not a huge commission package on offer, so whilst sales ability and motivation to operate a field based sales role is desired, the position will not suit people only motivated by money. It would much better suit salespeople motivated by service, and a role that isn’t cut hard sales where the doors for appointments are much easier to open. We’re working with a market leading and renowned European haulage and transportation business with offices across the UK and Ireland as they seek an experienced Business Development Manager from within the industry to spearhead further UK operations, and take one of the first roles out of their new office in Towcester. This is a full-time role, predominantly field based but ideally spending at least 1 day a week out of the new site, which is currently having internal refits. The role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics/haulage BDM to take a role with no glass ceiling and room for future growth, the first 3 months will be spent managing and pursuing low hanging fruit via existing customers and clients where there’s lots of opportunity but they have not had the UK based resource to investigate. Then following that the role will focus on new business opportunities with regional logistics hubs in the Milton Keynes area and across the UK. We are currently collaborating with a well-established Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer with over two decades of industry experience in the supply of products to the consumer and B2B construction market whilst they seek an ASM for the Southeast region. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 150 – 200 accounts in a region stretching from Hertfordshire to the south coast and East to Essex/Kent. As a manufacturer, they hold complete control over the quality and range of their products, and offer unrivalled quality and service. As such they seek a professional, articulate salesperson with excellent account management and account growth ability, spotting opportunities to maximise sales, and likewise limit any loss of market share. The role is field-based, out with clients 4 days per week (6 appointments per day) and 1 day from home, the role comes with a hybrid BMW 3 series, and a monthly bonus scheme.
