We are working with an industry leader in the engineering sector currently on the lookout for a Sales Manager to head up their new sub-contracting division, as they embark on a new venture selling metal fabrication, machining, and electro-mechanical assembly services across the UK. Candidates must have experience in a similar role for a sub-contractor in this sector, either as a BDM, Sales Engineer or Sales Manager. It’s also essential that you can estimate and quote from engineered drawings. Here’s the key duties of the role:
  • Researching and analysing the UK market for subcontract manufacturing to identify the biggest opportunities for our in-house capability.
  • Select and target the highest potential prospects.
  • Initiate and develop relationships with key people within target customers.
  • Generate enquiries, organise quotations and relentlessly pursue the order.
  • Work with the Group Marketing Manager on digital marketing: website, LinkedIn and mailshots.
  • Attend, exhibit and maximise the opportunity at suitable trade shows.
  • Travel the UK to meet customers as required.
  • Generate and host customer visits to our manufacturing facility.
Experience required:
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the UK subcontract manufacturing market.

We are hiring for a market leader in specialist business software, seeking a Sales Specialist to grow their team and take the UK function of this global brand to the next level. Candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds, though ideally you will be articulate, educated to degree level and have some exposure to account management, sales or customer success. You must also be client centric, not purely sales focused, and happy working in a role where you are engaging with customers all day by a variety of methods. Location wise the role would be in Cambridge for an initial training period, but then predominantly homebased, only being required in the office once a fortnight, though contractually could be asked to be in for a maximum of twice per week. We are working with a global leader in the software sector who are on the search for a Spanish/Portuguese speaking Channel Sales Executive to join their commercial team. You will be responsible for engaging with existing and new partners as well as guiding customers to products that best meet their needs within the South American and APAC markets. This new role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development within a dynamic sales team while working towards realistic targets, with an uncapped commission structure. Key responsibilities for the Channel Sales Executive will include:  
  • Identify, recruit and develop new Channel Partners across SAM, APAC and Africa regions
  • Develop strong relationships with key channel contacts
  • Deliver virtual training and advise on the resources and processes required to drive Channel business
  Key skills desirable in candidates applying for this role:
  • Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Experience within a software sales environment
  • Have great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Enjoy working to targets
