This role is an exciting, fast-paced sales role with no cold calling, a continuous and steady source of leads with an expected OTE of £50k in Year 1 – no financial sales experience needed. We’re working exclusively with a British electronics business seeking a new role for a UK home-based Regional Sales Manager to head up discussions with brands and companies across the UK and the North of Europe that require their inertial sensor technology. This is a highly technical position, so any applicants must have an electronic engineering degree and extensive experience selling inertial sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers into the Defence sector. The products you would be responsible for are both ‘plug and play’, and components that require being designed and engineered into projects. This role will be a key link between both sets of engineers, and as a result must be incredibly competent at an advanced level of technical understanding. Key responsibilities of the role
  • Develop sales strategies and initiatives in order to achieve growth, maximize sales revenue and profitability.
  • Develop key accounts directly, as well as manage and develop channel partners.
  • Provide input to Product Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams to help direct the development of new products that reflect market trends and customer needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting for budget planning to the VP Sales and Marketing.

Required Experience

  • Proven track record in business development, in particular gaining new business in large accounts from scratch.

We’re working with a marketing leading manufacturer in the construction and engineering sector, as they seek an experienced B2B Sales Executive to join the team.  Ideally candidates will have a technical sales background and experience within the construction, engineering, marine, manufacturing sectors, though candidates with confident sales ability and no technical sales experience will also be considered. The roles are hybrid inbound/outbound but as the business is so established and a market leader in their field, for the first 3 – 6 months any outbound work is likely going to be to previous customers and warm as opposed to cold, and there’s every chance you could only be working on the inbound side for the majority of the time. This said they do encourage staff to get out and meet clients in person once established within the business, and pool cars are available for this. The role would be office based for the first 6 months as due to the learning curve with the products and the technical nature of what they do it’s essential you’re amongst the team whilst working. However some hybrid working can be considered post successful completion of probation, should this be desirable longer term. Sales Executive Responsibilities Include
  • Managing inbound enquiries and customer visits

One of Cambridge’s leading specialist B2B media providers is seeking a Senior Media Sales Manager to take over the sales on two of its most prestigious global publications and associated media inventory. It’s very much an integrated digital and print offering with content marketing, digital media and data services as well as magazines. As such candidates must be forward thinking consultative salespeople, capable of getting the advertisers to broaden their horizons and embrace new forms of promotion.  Applicants will ideally come from publishing but they will also consider applicants with a background in selling specialist products B2B to senior marketers. The role can be predominantly home based, with 1 day a week spent in the Cambridge office. On a day-to-day basis the Senior Media Sales Manager will be selling a wide range of services internationally to both existing and new customers across a variety of specialist industry sectors around the world. Developing and growing a new customer base is very important as they wish to grow the division and publications, however this role does come with a very established and loyal existing customer base which will make up a large majority of the revenue, as such it is equally important to keep the current accounts happy, growing and developing them where possible. It’s important that applicants are experienced and happy working in a small business culture with full accountability, due to this candidates’ that only have experience working at larger organisations may not be suitable. This is a fantastic role with many benefits, such as regular international travel, and a relaxed and friendly working environment. Given the fact the client base for the role is global, you will be required to attend a show once a year in the USA, and travel to Europe once a quarter. We’re working with a specialist consumer brand seeking a Global Ecommerce Account Manager for their next stage of international growth. This is a new role in the team and as a result are focussed on bringing in a candidate that can bring a wealth of knowledge in Key Account Management, and experience of working with ecommerce retailers and distributors on an international scale. Given the specialist nature of the role, we can only consider candidates with International B2C key account management experience, and strong exposure in driving online sales.
